About Me
I started taking pictures 20 years ago. I always loved being behind the camera but never thought too much of it until I was in high school. Then for Christmas, my incredibly awesome stepfather built me a dark room in the upstairs bathroom of our house. I spent a couple years playing around with photography until it was time to apply to colleges. At that point I decided that photography was the one thing I wanted to study more than anything. I was accepted into the only school I applied to, The Art Institute of Boston, and spent the next three amazing years studying photography.
I am now in my ninth year a at Blind Dog Photo and am in the process of purchasing the business with fellow photographer, co-worker and friend, Gary Langley. I love what I do; assisting, retouching photos, color correcting, a little web design and working with a super talented photographer who shoots mostly commercial and architectural photography. That is my "day job". My true passion is what I do on my own time. I am a portrait photographer who loves being behind the camera every second that I can.
As you browse my online portfolio, you will see that I not only capture the essence of each and every one of my subjects, but I also create works of art that can be cherished for many years to come. I feel that I have a relationship with all my clients, even if it’s only for a couple of hours, and they mean as much to me as my photos do to them.
I try to keep my prices low so that anyone can have great pictures of themselves or their loved ones. If price ever becomes an issue, feel free to discuss other options with me. I'm sure we can come to an agreement that suits us both. I know what it’s like to struggle in this economy, and I don't think we should have to give up the little things that are such an important part of making this world more beautiful.
